Role Groups
As an application, there are two types of role groups: Application-level access roles (Primary Roles) and Content-level access roles. Below are the Application-level access roles currently present in the application.
Default - View access is given to all users. Modify, upload, delete, share, etc. are on a request basis to selected groups by admin.
Admin - All the admin activities.
External User - External channel only.
LAM - User role management.
In addition to the primary role groups above, application-level access roles can include custom roles created by the Administrator. These custom role groups are built from predefined role permission sets, which provide access to various media features and certain application functionalities.
Remember: even if a role’s permissions allow a user to perform certain actions, those actions are limited to the channels assigned to that user. A user can only act within channels that share the same role group assigned to them.
