Bulk Upload Using CSV

Using a CSV file, multiple media items can be created with different titles, descriptions, and tags. A sample file is provided in the Media Upload section as a reference for preparing data for bulk uploads.

Each job allows only a single type of asset to be uploaded to the server (either Documents, Images, Video, or Audio). Ensure the CSV file contains only one type of media. Use the provided sample CSV file and modify only the rows — do not change the column headers, as this may cause values to be ignored and result in job failure.

The link used to download the media must be a direct media link that is secure and authenticated. When entering channel name or visibility group, use the exact channel name or group id available in the application (including same camel case, special characters, spaces, etc.).

Currently there can be MAX 500 media per batch (total inclusive size should not be greater than 2 GB).

1

Open Bulk Upload Job page

  • Select "Media Bulk Jobs" from the sidebar.

2

Create a new batch

  • Click the + icon (Add New) to open the batch page.

3

Choose job and media type

  • Select Type of Job: "Bulk Upload-with multiple external media links in single csv file (CSV)" from the dropdown.

  • Select Type of Media from the dropdown.

Add a job name which can be used later to identify the job.

4

Select and upload the CSV job file

  • Select a CSV-formatted job file to upload and process on the server.

  • A sample CSV file is provided as a reference. Fill in valid data and do not modify header columns — changes to headers may lead to job failure.

  • Upload the CSV file.

  • After upload, view the uploaded file details in the table below the upload section.

5

Start the job

  • After CSV upload, click the "Create Media" button to start the job on the server. Media will be created on the server and will be available in the application after the job finishes.

6

Job status and viewing created media

  • After submitting the job, you will be directed to the job status page.

  • To view the media created for a job: select the job row and click the "Go to Media Management" icon in the header. This navigates to the Media Management page filtered to show only the data from the current batch.
