Multiple File Upload

All files loaded in a single batch will have the same tags applied. Additionally, each media from the batch will be assigned the same description and channels. (If description is not provided, the media title and description will default to the file name.)

Media Bulk Jobs — How to navigate and create a batch

1

Open Media Bulk Jobs

a) Log in to the application with valid credentials.

b) Select “Media Bulk Jobs” from the sidebar.

2

Start a new batch

c) Click the + icon (Add New) to open the batch page.

3

Configure job basics

d) Select Type of Job as "Multiple File Upload" from the dropdown.

e) Select Type of media from the dropdown.

f) Add a Job name to identify the job in the future.

g) Optionally add a generic description (applies to all media in the batch). If left empty, the file name will be used as the description. Also add any generic tags to apply to all media.

4

Channels and visibility

h) Choose a channel to apply to all media in the batch.

i) Fetch the visibility group from the selected channel to apply to all media in the batch.

5

Select and view files

j) Select media files when prompted by the file selector. Remember: select all desired files of the same asset type in one selection.

k) Uploaded files will be listed in the table below the upload section.

6

Create media and view job status

l) After upload, click the "Create Media" button to start the server-side job. Media will be created on the server and will be available in the application after the job finishes.

m) After submitting the job, you will be directed to the job status page. To view media created for a job, select the job row and click the "Go to Media Management" icon in the header — this filters the media management page to show only items from the current batch.
